I purchased the Pewter color and it is a great neutral color that goes with everything. It is the most comfortable shoe. I feel as if I am wearing a slipper but it is stylish and well constructed. The best investment I have made in a ballerina flat to date. I was a bit sceptical because of the open weave but it is very flattering and with the design there are not any big gaping holes so you could wear it for three seasons easily. The sole is sturdy and there is plenty of cushion on the inside. I purchased the 9.5 I am usually a 10 in flats but these run big and with the soft leather i knew that they would stretch to fit my foot and they did just that. That being said there was no break-in period and they were good to go right out of the box. They did squeak when i wore them barefoot and I thought it was the shoe but realized that with a no-show ped the problem was solved. First pair was 7.5, my usual size, and it fit great but they looked worn (leather was wrinkled all over), and there were black scuff marks on the toes of the shoes. BUT they WERE comfortable. Padded sole + all leather surrounding my feet (these were the only shoes that were a good price for all-leather plus rubber sole).Second pair were the replacement for the first pair and they said size 7.5 but were totally too tight. Couldn't exchange at this point so I had to do a refund and then buy another pair. I understand why Amazon needs to limit the number of exchanges allowed on a product, but when a product is this messed up they should have some way of manually allowing customers to do another exchange.
